Anne Furbank opened the doors to her first fashion shop in the village of Buckden, Cambridgeshire in 1981. Since then the shop has grown from one to eleven showrooms, and she has been joined in the business by daughter-in –law, Rebecca. In 2004 the George Hotel and Brasserie, Buckden became part of the Anne Furbank group, and was fully refurbished and re-launched 9 months later as the contemporary hotel and restaurant it is today. This was followed in August 2008 by a second fashion shop in the centre of Newmarket.

Together, Anne and Rebecca’s understanding of style, their skill in selecting only the best in fashion design, fabric, and quality and their eye for evolving labels has meant the fashion business has continued to grow over time. It has also won many awards, including the coveted ‘National Independent Retailer of the Year’ by clothing industry magazine, Drapers, which is testament to their skill.

Today, Anne Furbank continues to offer beautiful, hand-picked fashion from around the world, and the ultimate in personal styling to its customers.
