Annies Blog - 21 July 10

Since I last wrote my blog a lot has happened!  The first day of the sale in Buckden was phenomenal!  Way above expectations and achieving a record day.  Opening from 10-4pm on the Sunday was also a great success with lunch at the George proving very popular.  The first day of the sale at Newmarket which started on the Monday was also extremely busy and once again, we exceeded our expectations. Since then new stock has been arriving thick and fast, and I must say it's looking delicious!  This season we have decided to keep one room full of non-sale summer stock to take us through til the end of August, and it is already proving very popular. 

The last week of our current season sale starts soon with 75% reduction on all remaining merchandise - absolutely amazing bargains to be had - you might have to join the queues! 

In the meantime, Richard and I have managed to squeeze in a few days on our narrow boat, this time with our grandchildren George, 13 and Alex, 11, and George's friend Marcus.  We had a brilliant time with lots of card-playing pub stops, lock winding and laughter - can't wait for the next time!  Hope to see you soon.
