Annies Blog - 12th May

Well I'm back from my 4 day maiden cruise, and what a great time I had!  The ship was the Celebrity Eclipse which held 2,800 passengers and 2,000 crew!!  Somehow though, it never ever seemed crowded in any area at any time - amazing. 

I took the opportunity to people-watch and take in just what women who cruise choose to wear.  I learnt an awful lot!  Very casual during the day and dressy at night!  The ladies really did make an effort and although not many long dresses were worn (except on the Formal Night) there was a lot of glamour on board.  Floaty trousers, pretty tops, dresses with pashminas or shrugs and that little black dress popped up with different accessories time and time agian. 

I had a very special time with my mum - Barbara, and my sister and her best friend and have agreed to celebrate Mum's 90th birthday next year on another cruise!  Roll on May 2011!!
