How frustrating! Absolutely no electricity in our Newmarket shop for six hours on Wednesday morning and for heath and safety reasons we had to close the sbop - I was not happy! Any way, to all those lovely customers who we had to turn away in the morning and who came back to the shop in the afternoon - Thank you.
I am pleased to say we have had a lot of ladies in the shops who are going to Ascot, so I will be looking out for Anne Furbank outfits when I watch the coverage on the television. Personally, I will be going to the other extreme, as far as fashion is concerned, because I will be in my narrow boat garb for the next little while as I will be attempting the 400 locks on our annual trip on the canals.
