The Winner of our What not to Wear Prize draw, March 10

We often run competitions and prize draws, and thought you might like to hear the results of how one of our winners got on.  In our 2010 Spring fashion launch week, we offered shoppers the chance to win a 'What not to Wear' experience, to experiment with new styles, move on from old ones, and spend a £500 voucher in our Buckden shop.

The winner of this great prize was Mrs Hilary Kay from Bedfordshire.  Once she had got over the surprise of winning, Hilary chatted with Debbie, the Manager of the shop in Buckden, and they decided that Hilary would spend some time with Clare, who had helped her in the past.  Hilary sent us a lovely card of thanks, with a description of how she got on:

"  I had a really enjoyable time with Claire,
trying on lots of different pieces, including
styles I would never have thought of wearing
but which actually suited me!  I came away
with some very satisfactory additions to my
wardrobe, and a determination to get rid of
some very unsatisfactory horrors lurking
in cupboards!  I used the voucher to buy a
beautiful Paddy Campbell dress and jacket
for my son’s wedding to be held in Califormia
in October.

Thank you so much for a truly delightful prize.
Please pass on my thanks to everyone who
helped make it such a fun day, particularly
of course to Claire, whose unflagging patience
and enthusiasm shone through.  "
