Shopping for your Mother of the Bride outfit? - Our tips..
Naturally, every mother wants to look her best on her son or daughter's wedding day.
Our trained consultants have lots of experience in helping Mothers of the Bride/Groom find their perfect wedding outfit, so to help you prepare for your visit to the shops they have put their heads together and come up with a list of ten top tips:
1. Go with an open mind - be prepared to try on and experiment
2. Give yourself plenty of time.
3. Wear well-fitting and appropriate undergarments.
4. Be aware of wedding party colour schemes (ie. other mum, bridesmaids, flowers etc).
5. Don't take too many friends to help you choose. Advice can often be conflicting.
6. Don't be disheartened if you don't succeed on your first visit.
7. Don't rush into anything, although the first outfit is often the right one!
8. Don't be pressurized into making a decision.
9. For Summer weddings our stock arrives after Christmas, and for Winter weddings July/August, so shop as early as possible for maximum choice.
10. Endeavour to relax and enjoy the experience!
