Now my mums journey to find her outfit wasn’t straight forward because she didn’t know what she wanted. She also stuck to tradition so Mother of the Bride chose her outfit first before my mum went looking.

My mum and I went to a few different shops, never finding the right one, even purchased a dress that turned out to be not the one. My mum ended going for something that I didn’t expect her to go for. Another reason why it is so good to try lots of different styles on. She sent me a photo of the Veni Infantino dress that she is wearing and said I want that one and I couldn’t believe it when I saw it in our stock room, in her size like it was meant to be. My mum only purchased her dress a few months before the wedding. Just showing how different two peoples journeys can be to find the perfect outfit.
